Work Session

H2O CARDIO

A high energy, full body water aerobics class suitable for everyone. The instructor is certified by the National Arthritis Foundation.

H2O HIIT

High intensity interval training, utilizing different music driven interval protocols. A tough workout not for beginners.

H2O COMBO

Engages upper body, core strength and lower limbs to fight against inertia, using a variety of equipment.

YOGA

Promotes physical and mental well-being through specific postures (exercises) along with breathwork and meditation techniques. Variations can be given to support beginners to experienced students.

LUNCHTIME SPIN

Low impact exercise on a stationary bike. Great for beginners to experienced. Chose light, moderate or intense workouts for cardiovascular strength and work core, upper and lower body.

Stained Glass Open Lab

The stained glass open lab at the Munson Senior Center provides seniors with the opportunity to create stained glass projects. The lab is equipped with all of the necessary tools and supplies, and a staff member is available to provide assistance if needed.

Painting Open Studio

Seniors can come to the Munson Senior Center to enjoy some time painting in a relaxed and supportive environment. There is no instruction provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own supplies or work on projects that are provided. This is a great opportunity for seniors to explore their creative side and socialize with others who share their interest in art.

Munson Book Club

The book club at the Munson Senior Center provides a great opportunity for seniors to socialize and discuss books. The club meets once a week, and participants are encouraged to read the book in order to participate in the discussion.

Senior Fitness

Join Thomas Branigan Memorial Library and Lisa Gonzales for Senior Fitness. Lisa, a Silver Sneakers fitness instructor of thirty-three years, will guide seniors through various fitness exercises and motions to improve agility, mobility, and stability. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own water, small weights, and towels.

Who Knew: Tech 101 and Medicare 101

The Thomas Branigan Memorial Library and Humana invite you to join us for an educational event providing informational resources and assistance all about technology and Medicare. Tech 101 will provide a brief overview of using technology to stay connected, social networks, and help and answers to any of your technology questions. Medicare 101 will be an informational session all about Medicare. Topics will range from enrollment and understanding plans to additional coverage choices.
