[ARCHIVED] Outdoor Cannabis Consumption Survey

Cannabis in jars on shelf

The City of Las Cruces wants to know your thoughts on the outdoor consumption of cannabis at licensed facilities. Currently cannabis consumption areas in licensed facilities can only occur indoors. Do you support outdoor consumption? Do you think there should be restrictions on hours of operation? Should there be distance requirements?

Let us know how you feel about possible changes to the City's current regulations.

The survey can be found at: Licensed Outdoor Cannabis Consumption Survey.

The City will also host a public meeting regarding the potential for allowing outdoor consumption of cannabis in licensed facilities. It will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday Sept. 22 in Council Chambers at City Hall, 700 N. Main St. Attendees will have the option to attend in person or online.

For residents who want to participate on Zoom, you can register at https://las-cruces-org.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_W0HH3KD-TqSw0EgKIJRM2A

The meeting will be televised live on Comcast Cable channel 20 and will be available in high definition on Comcast Cable channel 928. The meeting also will be available online at YouTube.com/clctv20.
