Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
Las Cruces Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Doña Ana Community College provides one-on-one confidential consultations at no cost. SBDC offers assistance with how to manage a business, develop a business plan, create marketing strategies, and find financial resources. Additionally, SBDC will provide assistance to prepare the business loan package for a lender. Seminars and workshops are also available to improve business and management opportunities.
The SBDC at DACC, serving Doña Ana and Sierra Counties, is a member of the New Mexico SBDC Network comprised of 19 centers across the state. It also provides assistance with government contracting through the Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC) Program as well as international trade through the International Business Accelerator (IBA) program.

LiftFund
LiftFund is a non-profit organization, that helps small business owners with limited access to capital have a chance to live their dreams. They provide small business loans and minority business loans for women, startups, and entrepreneurs. They partner with SBA lenders and other lending institutions to provide startup loans, SBA 504 Loans, and microloans in New Mexico and throughout the South Eastern USA.

WESST
WESST provides consulting and uses a network of strategic partners that offer advice on various business topics along with training for small, local business owners. Small business loans are available for women and other entrepreneurs who encounter difficulty in obtaining financing ranging from $200 - $50,000. WESST also offers one-on-one business consulting and loans to help facilitate either the start-up or growth of small businesses that are unable to obtain financing through traditional loan sources.

Social Media Program - Arrowhead Center (FREE)
The City of Las Cruces Economic Development Department, in partnership with New Mexico State University’s Arrowhead Center are helping local businesses build their social media accounts to increase business with free support. With support from local marketing industry experts and working with students from NMSU and Doña Ana Community College, local businesses will be able to start or grow their social media presence.
Assistance will include:
- Creating business accounts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and/or LinkedIn
- Guide on best practices and tips to consider when using social media
- Training on how to:
- Access two accounts
- How to post to those accounts
- Update account information for those accounts
- Use paid ads to promote your business

BizSprint - Arrowhead Center (FREE)
Is a business accelerator partnership program between New Mexico State University’s Arrowhead Center and the City of Las Cruces (CLC) Economic Development department aimed to help Las Cruces businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Las Cruces BizSprint is a free eight-week session that will help local companies focus on best practices in business management and e-commerce training.

Work from home just got easier with help from the library. Free Wi-Fi Hotspots and laptops are now available to check out at the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library. Library cardholders can now check out free Wi-Fi for 21 days.
