The Las Cruces area has a wealth of resources for small business. Staff will work with you to identify programs, agencies, or organizations best suited to meet your needs. Together, we can identify local, regional and state resources available for your business and connect you to them. Among the many useful resources in the Business Resource Directory provided by the City’s Economic Development Department. The Business Assistance Line is available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Assistance is available in both English and Spanish.

Data Mining

The City subscribes to various online demographic and market databases that can be accessed during the consultation. The City GIS, and other public records, provide data about land ownership, utility locations, zoning districts, business registrations, construction permitting, and much more. In a consultation visit, we work with you to determine what information you can use to grow your business.
