Hello, fellow Las Crucens,

I want to warmly welcome you to the City of Las Cruces’ COVID-19 Alerts webpage! Here, you will find plenty of useful information and important resources focused solely on Las Cruces’ efforts to successfully battle COVID-19.

As vaccines for COVID-19 continue to become available for Las Cruces residents, New Mexicans, and fellow Americans, it remains very important that all of us continue to observe COVID-safe practices. Please wear a mask, continue to observe at least six feet of social distancing, avoid large gatherings, and stay at home unless you absolutely must go to the grocery store, pharmacy, doctor’s office, or restaurant.

Please continue to keep yourself and your family safe. Let’s keep working together to improve Las Cruces and New Mexico from #RedToGreen!

You are encouraged to review all of the services offered by the City if you have been adversely affected by the pandemic. You can stay informed by reviewing information from the New Mexico Department of Health. Links from NMDOH are included on this website.

Also, if you haven’t already done so, please sign up to get your COVID-19 vaccine – let’s work together to get back together.

All of us with the City of Las Cruces understand just how hard it has been for you, your families, and all of our businesses to cope with all of hardships the pandemic has caused. I appreciate and am grateful for all of the strength, courage, patience, and compassion you have shown to get us through this especially difficult time.

Thank you, Las Cruces for all of your efforts!

Sincerely,

Mayor Ken Miyagishima
