The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will offer Virtual Fall Marathon 2022! New season, new you!
This session starts Sept. 25, 2022 and ends Nov. 5, 2022. Kick the fall season off by completing 26 miles in six weeks.
A fitness tracker is needed to track mileage and daily/weekly photo submittals of mileage completed must be emailed. Upon completion of 26 miles, participants will be issued a T-shirt for their accomplishment.
Registration starts Sept. 16, 2022 and will continue through 5 p.m. Sept. 23, 2022. A kickoff meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2022, at Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W Bell Ave., for registered participants. This is an opportunity to meet other participants and ask questions about specific details of the program.

Today my team: Suzie, Sheila, Erin and Brian are adding up their miles, we have been texting back and forth most of the morning, sharing stories: a Fitbit not connected to a new phone, days of miles lost; a run away pup and chasing him at night through streets in Albuquerque (adding good miles), luckily with a good outcome. My team encouraged me to join the marathon and they joined for support. Thank you for keeping us informed of our progress and for encouraging us.”
